Government of India has increased Dearness Allowances for Central Government Employees to 8% of the basic pay scale for the year 2010.
The dearness allowance (DA) has been increase to 35% from 27% of total basic salary since 1st Jan 2010. Over 50 lacs Central Government employees will get benefit of this increase. Today Dearness allowance 2010 has been approved by Indian cabinet.
This increase will be applicable from 1 Jan 2010.
