The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by all Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institute of Technology (IIT’s) on behalf of the National Coordination Board- GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resourse Development (MHRD), Government of India.
The test was successfully conducted in various part of India in which few lakhs students took part. Apart from written exam, online test for two papers was also conducted today. As per some students who took GATE today said that the paper was slightly tougher as compared to last year. So many of the applicants have performed badly but not to worry at all. If the paper was tough than it was tough for all.
