The people of India will celebrate its 64th Independence Day with great pomp and show. Independence Day of India is celebrated on 15th August every year to celebrate the freedom of our country from British rule, who ruled our country for more than 200 years.
People of India are geared up to celebrate the day which will be celebrated on 15th August. Nation wide alert has been issued following the independence day and 8000 security jawans ahve been deployed in National Capital itself.
New Delhi is converted into fortress as 8000 security personnels have been deployed their and the security for government buildings and national monuments have also been increased.
On the occasion, Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh will hoist the National Flag at historical site, Red Fort. He’ll also address the nation on his governments achievements and regarding upcoming projects.
Flag hosting ceremony is also observed across the country and Flag is hosted by all States Chief Ministers in their respective state capital.
