A MIG-27 fighter jet got crashed in Jalpaiguri a shot while ago from now. Indian Air Force MiG-27 plane got crashed in field of West Bengal killing one farmer on the field and injuring 25 other people. 5 people are in critical condition. All injured people are admitted at Bhotputti village in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri district.
This Figther Jet’s pilot, Saket Verma, ejected from the aircraft but was injured and is hospitalized, said SP Anand Kumar.
A farmer named B. Rai, who was on the process of cultivation in his field is killed and 25 other people are injured in a MIG crash between Moynaguri and Chengrabandha, IG (North Bengal) Ranveer Kumar said.
This MIG-27 took off from the Air Force base of Hashimara on a routine flight and crashed within few minutes of take-off.
This incident took place around 10:30 on Saturday at a place 25 kms away from Hashimara Air Base.
