Today evening around 6:30pm a Bomb Blast hit Pune at German Bakery in Koregaon Park – very near a Jewish prayer house and an Osho Ashram. The blast took place when an unidentified bag was tried to open.
“This is a Terror attack”, said Union Home Secretary G K Pillai. The Bomb squad has reached Koregaon Park for search of any other bomb.
An Anti-Terror Squad reached the blast site almost immediately. Teams from the National Security Guard (NSG), National Investigative Agency (NIA) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are also expected soon. One of the eyewitness said that the police and fire brigade were at the spot immediately.
