Medical and health services in Rajasthan will soon become normal as Doctors all over the state have called off their three day long strike. This strike has been called off after their talks with the Government and they said that their demands have been met. Due to this strike, over 50 patients have been killed in the entire state.
Rajasthan state Health Minister A.A. Khan himself admitted that within three days of strike, more than 55 patients have died in the hospitals due to lack of treatment.
This strike started due to two incidents took place in Mathura Das Mathur hospital Troama Center in Jodhpur on Saturday when some of the injured relative have flown medical personnel and after that lathi charge on medical students by the police at Dr Sen Medical College. After these two incidents, one by one doctors from Jaipur, Kota, Bikaner, Ajmer and Udaipur went on strike.
Health services have been badly hit the affected areas and hundreds of patients were seen running from one ward to another in search of doctors for treatment of patients. Sixteen patients were killed in Jodhpur alone including six children.
Health Minister A.A. Khan met senior officials to resolve the doctors issues. On the other hand, medical services in the state crippled as resident doctors strike entered third day. Reports said that 16 people have been killed due to alleged lack of medicare following the stir.
