Subir Raha, was Chairman of Team Raha Ideation, an India-based consulting firm focused on strategic advisory services. He was 62 and he was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. He was hospitalized last week after critical condition.
Raha is considered and he is a man who has taken ONGC to a level where every company wants to go. ONCE, the nation’s largest oil and gas producer.
Previously, Mr. Raha was the Chairman & Managing Director of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for five years. During Mr. Raha’s tenure, ONGC’s market capitalisation increased more than 10 times, and became the leader among all Public- and Private Sector Companies in India in terms of Net Worth.
