Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) today inivited Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi for campaigning ahead of Assembly elections. This move can sure be a red rag to the JDU.
Anant Kumar, BJP General Secretary and in-charge in Bihar said in the meeting of party’s Gujarat Executive in Ahemadabad that, “Modiji, please come and campaign in Bihar and hold the party flag high.”
Anant Kumar also added that he feels from the bottom of his heart. It can be any city whether it may be Bangalore, Benaras or Bihar. We invite Modiji to come to campaign. He is our leader. He said this in thunderous applause from aprty leaders. Arun Jaitley, Modi and other senior leaders were seated on dais.
JDU Leader Shivanand Tiwari on Anant Kumar’s statement reacted sharly saying that, “BJP want to rule whole India. The days of one party ruling is gone now.Coalition is the rule of the day. Why is BJP adamant. Why is it creating a scene in Bihar.”

Self-styled godman Swami Nithyananda who has been found guilty in a sex scandal after a video footage, was arrested from his village 50 Km from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
“He was arrested from his village near Arki town,” said Solan police chief Prem Thakur. Karnataka based Nithyananda has been on run and out of the Police catch since 23rd march, 2010 when the Karnataka High Court rejected his plea for anticipatory bail and quashing of criminal cases against him.
The swami will be taken to local court in Solan or Shimla on transit remand and then he would be taken to Karnataka or Tamil Nadu by the police.
“Swami Nithyananda was arrested by the joint police teams of Himachal Pradesh and Bangalore from his house near Arki town in Sonal District when he was staying from past few days.” ADG Police I.D.Bhandari said.
Video footage exposed in early March this year showed Nithyananda in a Bed with women. The footage was exposed on different TV channels later on.

Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council has moved both the semi-finals from Bangalore to Navi Mumbai after two low-intensity bomb blasts took place near the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore minutes before the match.
The two Semi-Finals which were scheduled to be held at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore are now shifted to D Y Patil Stadium, navi Mumbai because of Blast in Bangalore. The D Y Patil Stadium is also the host of IPL 2010 Final Match.
After the Saturday Blast, two more explosives found in the city making it a serious concern among the organised of DLF IPL 2010.
The suspense about theĀ Four Semi-Finalist Teams have not been came out yet, which is fully dependent on today’s match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians have already qualified for the Semis but if Kolkata manages to defeat them with a huge margin then Kolkata Knight Riders can be among one of the Semi-Finalist in PIPL 2010.

Explosion outside BangaloreĀ Chinnaswamy Stadium has been reported after which a IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians has been delayed. Sources said that the explosion took place near gate no. 12 in Chinnaswamy Stadium. “The bomb was of low intensity and there is no need to panic”, said Bangalore Police Commissioner.
At least 8 people have been injured in the blast. One security official have been seriously injured. According to the Bangalore Top Police Official , it seems that there was some kind of explosive hidden in a plastic bag near the outer wall of the stadium.
The people are requested to be calm and cooperate with the security official’s and the IPL match will start in a while Police Commissioner added. Both the teams i.e. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians are inside the stadium and are safe. The Mumbai Indians have already qualified for the Semi-finals and Bangalore Royal Challengers will be close of securing fourth place in the points table.
