Maruti Suzuki India launched the All New Alto K10 on August 4, 2010. Images and brochure for the car has now been revealed. We have bought some of the exterior and interior images on Alto K10.

The All New Alto K10 is launched with the K series 1 litre 3 cylinder 998 cc engine with an introductory prices of Rs 3.03 lakh and Rs 3.16 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Mercedes Benz on Friday launched SLS-AMG in India. This sports car has a cockpit like door opening. Only millionaires can afford it. The car has the price tag of Rs. 2 crore + which come with massive 6300cc engine, enough to get this beast from 0-100 in just 3.8 seconds. Mercedes SLS-AMG has launches in India weeks after the right-hand drive versions made their debut in the markets.

SLS-AMG is a car with gull-wing doors which gives the feel of Airplanes cockpit. About 10 units of SLS-AMG has already been sold and it’s demand remains high in the market.

At the launch of Mercedes SLS-AMG in India Wilfried Aulbur, MD of Mercedes-Benz India said, “It’s the ultimate car in style and performance”. The Mercedes-Benz SLS-AMG boasts top speed at 317 kmph. This car was showcased at the Delhi Expo earlier in January this year, is the big hit right from that point of time.

This car is made with aluminium body, to give it a light weight. Though this at this price, Mercedes SLS-AMG has its competitors Audi A8 and Porsche 911 Turbo. To own this beast, one has to wait for 6-8 months after booking. “10 cars booked till date will be delivered to customers before December this year”, said Debashish Mitra, sales & marketing director for Mercedes-Benz India.

Honda Scooters and Motorcycle India, yesterday launches their new bike “CB Unicorn Dazzler” in the presence of Atsushi Amataka, president, Honda R&D India; Shinji Aoyama, CEO & president, HMSI,  along with N.K. Rattan, operating head – Sales & Marketing, HMSI.

The bike is in the 150 cc segment ready to rival Bajaj Pulsar and TVS Apache. CB Unicorn Dazzler is priced approx Rs. 62,900 ex-showroom price (Delhi) with aggressive styling, advanced equipments, blistering performance, impressive mileage of 60 kmpl, comfort and convenience.

The bike is launched with four attractive colors i.e. Armour Gold Metallic, Pearl Nightstar Black, Sword Silver Metallic and Pearl Siena Red, which would be made available to the customer by the end of May, 2010.

Strengthening their market hold in India, Honda motors has unveiled it’s ninth product in India after Activa, Dio, Shine, Stunner, Aviator, Twister etc.

Bajaj Auto on Wednesday promised to bring a competitor car to Tata Nano by the year 2012, with a price tag 0f 1.1 Lakhs around $2,500. Bajaj Auto also said that this Ultra Low Cost (ULC) Car will be better fuel efficient. With the collaboration with the global auto giants Renault Nissan.

Mr. Rajiv Bajaj Managing Director Bajaj Auto told reporters about the car. He told, “If people who ride two-wheelers and if they have to move to four-wheeler what is the most important thing he see about the monthly cost of ownership which  must be affordable”. Bajaj Auto also unveiled there new range of Three Wheelers RE 205D and RE 205M which are available in two fuel variants CNG (compressed natural gas) and LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and will be prices at Rs.1,27,300 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Rajiv Bajaj added that’ ” The four wheelers which could me made available for the market in this year has been postponed till 2012. We are trying this vehicle to deliver 30 KMPL in order to survive in the market, as our experience with two wheelers have shown that”.
