World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated on 5th June every year. For the year2010 the WED Legacy Project has been launched in which registered activities have a direct impact on a critical project in the host country.
United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has made the above project and their is a pretty interesting quiz going on organized by UNEP on there Official Website……
The first World Environment Day (WED) was celebrated in the year 1973. Every year World Environment Day is hosted a different city with a different theme, with the message to protect, save and care our environment.
For the year 2010 the Theme and City for World Environment Day is “Many Species. One Planet. One Future” which will be hosted in Rawanda City, Rawanda.
World Environment Day is similar to Earth Day as the nations come together to save our environment which directly saves our Earth and give us a clean environment to live on….
